1920s or 1930s Composition 26" Mama Doll
This adorable
toddler is unmarked and was most likely made in the 1920s or 1930s. She is
26" tall, and is a big girl. Please click on each image for a larger
view.
She has a
composition head, shoulder plate, arms and legs. Her head moves, and she is
posable. Her composition is in great shape, with some very minor surface
crazing and tiny cracks, which do not detract from her beauty. She has all of
her fingers and toes. She has upper teeth and and rosy lips. She has a firmly
stuffed cloth body in good condition. Her green tin eyes have very full lashes
and open and close and she has painted lower lashes.
She has her
original brown human hair wig which is full and in very nice condition with
lots of curls framing her face.
She is wearing a
replacement dress, slip and bloomers. The dress was fashioned after a doll
from a 1920s Christmas toy catalog. She has replaced shoes and socks.
