1928 Horsman Dimples $399 + $25 shipping (Please email for availability) Code: HD2002 Click on images to enlarge This wonderful huge, fat, adorable composition baby doll was made by Horsman in 1928 and is fully marked on the back of her head. She measures approximately 24".
She has a composition
head, arms and big, fat, chunky legs. Her composition is in great shape.
There is one small crack at the corner of he right eye, which is hardly
noticeable and I tried to take a picture of it. She has rosy red lips
blush to her cheeks, hands and knees and the cutest expression! She has
all of her fingers and toes. Her eyes do sleep, and she has two front
teeth. There are some paint rubs to her head. Her cloth body has
darkened with age. She has he cuddliest body, feels like a real baby
when you hold her!
It appears she has
had some minor restoration at some point, which does not take away from
her beauty. She is dressed in a newly made dress and matching bonnet,
edged in lace. She has a slip and matching bloomers. She also has a bib
with "Dimples" embroidered on the front. What a great large
composition doll for your collection
