1930s Composition Effanbee Sweetie Pie

Here is a 20" composition baby Sweetie Pie doll made by Effanbee. She was manufactured in the 1930s. She is appropriately marked on her neck. Be sure to click on the photos to see close ups of her beautiful face.
Sweetie Pie has beautiful coloring, rosy
cheeks, and tiny pursed red lips. She has big beautiful glass
eyes and they flirt from side to side, which works perfectly. She has
well-defined multi-stroke eyebrows. Her tousled dark auburn caracul curl
wig is nice and thick and in good condition. She has composition arms and
curved legs in nice condition, with her original blushed nail polish. She does
have minor surface crazing. Her muslin body is in good condition but
there are some stains on it.
SWEETIE PIE is dressed in a newly made
cotton dress with blue raised dots, a matching bonnet, bloomers and slip. I am
also including a reproduction hang tag, which is an exact duplicate of the
original that came with every Sweetie Pie sold. This is a beautiful Sweetie
Pie!
