This adorable toddler was made by Effanbee in the 1920's and is fully marked on the back of her shoulder plate. She is a whopping 30" tall, and is a big, heavy girl.

She has a composition head, shoulder plate, arms and legs. Her head swivels so you can pose her. The photos might show some fly-away hairs on her face, it is not crazing. Her composition is in great shape, with some paint rubs to left fingers and hand, but no missing composition. There is what appears to be a manufacturing defect on her right leg, which I have tried to show, but does not take away from her beauty. She has all of her fingers and toes. She has four upper teeth, tongue and rosy lips. Her cloth body is very nice with some age spots (at this age, she is entitled!). Her eyes have full lashes and open and close. There is a small amount of crackling to a very small portion of her right eyes, hard to see, as you can tell from the photos.

She has her original wig which is full and in very nice condition. She has her original Effanbee heart bracelet, which is tarnished with age.
I made her a dress out of cotton with pink flocked dots, puffed sleeves, and attached collar made from a vintage handkerchief. She has a white cotton slip with matching bloomers trimmed with eyelet lace. Her feet are HUGE so I had to make her shoes, as I could not find any to fit her.

I have to say, this is one of the nicest dolls I have ever acquired. She is rare and you hardly see one, especially in this condition. It felt like I was taking photos of a real child! If I wasn't in the business of selling dolls, I would keep this one. She will melt your heart.
